FCC Fined T-Mobile Millions Of Dollars For Failing To Serve Users Rights

T-Mobile fined with millions of dollars after consumers complained about unlimited data plans that weren't unlimited.


The Federal investigation,which began last year targeted T-Mobile marketing of unlimited data plans to users.Which phones with monthly data caps and unlimited data.

But now,many users are complaining about degrading of data which can't be use unlimitedly.Unlike before user's subscribe for 3 days unlimited data but now the usage of the data is limited.

In that case Federal Communication Commission fined T-Mobile $7.5 million to the government and $35.5 million to compensate affected users.

By the word of T-Mobile CEO John Jegere “dealing with the government was a good settlement",so they agreed on providing $5 million free Tablets to children in low-income school district,as well as free mobile data for their schools and families for 4 years.Right now over 100,000 children is willing to benefit from this program which will start by next October.
