Facebook: Don't call us a media company

The Chief Product Officer of Facebook Chris Cox says we are not a leading social media but a big technology company.


Facebook  may goes deep inside all content but not a social media company which is about stories it tells.“A media company is about the stories it tells. A technology company is about the tools it builds " said by Facebook CEO Mark Zukerberg.

Facebook CEO Mark Zukerberg told a group of Italian college group. “When you think about a media company, you have people who are producing content, who are editing content,that's not us.We're technology company.We build tools. We do not produce any of the content".

From all statement above I think there is alot of harassment about Facebook a media company or technology company.
