One of Asia's biggest internet companies is serving up its version of Amazon Alexa


Naver, the biggest messaging app in South Korean revealed its own AI virtual assistant on Wednesday.


The new right hand is known as Clova and will be totally voice-based. It'll build up as a phone application and also as a hardware speaker known as Wave, like Amazon Echo and Google Home. 

Clova is reserved to build up in Japan and South korea between Apr and July this year. 

Naver is likewise attaching up with enormous combine Sony in Japan and LG Electronic devices in South Korea, to get the Clova into toys and games and home appliances not far off. 

Clova will have the capacity to respond to customers' queries, and additionally give data on different topics, from the weather to the news. 

"We are anticipating to make Clova Asia's leading cloud AI platform," Line CEO Takeshi Idezawa said during the Mobile World Congress show.
