China has always been known for its tight plan on Internet censorship which stops customers in mainland China from obtaining proscribed sites. From Sept 2015 up till date, over 3,000 sites have been blocked by the China power and they include some extremely well-known sites like Search engines, YouTube, Google, Wikipedia, Facebook and many more.
The China govt considers in the saying that "if you can not control the information outflow, then you should block it and create your own". While some well-known sites like Google, Youtube, Facebook, and Twitter are blocked in China, the power made sure they provide solutions like Baidu, Weibo, RenRen and Youku.
Since Wikipedia is one of the sites blocked by China and a lot of its people will like to have access to it, China has declared that by 2018, it will launch its own form of Wikipedia. Although Baidu and Qihoo 360 both have their own form of Wikipedia, but it's a complete don't succeed.
According to reviews, 20,000 people will be employed to make sure that the China form of Wikipedia will have 300,000 records and that each will have about a million terms. The material will be produced and handled by instructors of the main colleges from the and of course, it will be assessed by the Chinese authority.
