He seems to be taking a little too long to learn what Bill Gates did pretty early: If you don’t find some giant social project to invest your wealth into and to focus the public’s attention away from you, they’ll continually notice how socially awkward, ruthless and creepy you are.
Seriously.
When you read news stories about Mark Zuckerberg it sounds as if he tortures small animals in his basement, watches upskirt videos online all day and cannot hold a civil conversation with another human being. Despite the millions of dollars which have been spent trying to “humanize” him, it doesn’t seem to be taking. He comes across like a sociopath and that’s not a good look if are the CEO of one of the world’s largest firms.
Why he hasn’t dumped billions into “Cure AIDS” or an “End Homelessness” project that will distract the public from the flat almost vacant gaze that he seems to constantly adopt is surprising. He has the money, he needs the publicity and it will help him in the long run. That no one inside his personal sphere of influence has suggested this makes you wonder what they ARE telling him or advising him to do.
Rich people need to either be anonymous or give money so they don’t look like a*sholes. There is no “third way.”

The CEO thinks he can win the world by buying all the social media.
In my opinion, Mark Zuckerberg has not any mistakes.
