There are alot of Phones,Laptops and Tablets which get explode for some reasons, but the major reason caused when phones get explode is battery,over charging and phones expose directly to sun.
Battery:- Lot of lithium ion batteries get weak and damage through short circuiting and this could make the phone explode accidentally.
Overcharging:- Most people leave their phones charging while sleeping in economy of poor electricity.While charging unknownly the temperature of the battery might get high by that internal short circuit can occur.
Phone Expose To Sun:- Some people are so ignorant of placing their phones directly to sun all the way of charging with some silly apps.

1. Use the authorized charger for each phones.
2. Unplugged once charged.
3. Don't leave your phone charging all night.
4. Avoid direct sunlight.
5. Let your phone cool when get hot.
6. Restart or Reboot your phone every 1hour this makes your phone cool down.
